Guaranteed – I mean really?

I know – quite a bold statement to make, but give me a few minutes and I’ll prove it.

I know a lot of people who would love to make their first dollar online and well, if you’ve never made any money online before, then hopefully this article will give you a few ideas to get you started.

In this article I’m gonna show you a several ways you can start earning your first dollar online EVER!

Some methods don’t even require a computer.

If you’ve never made money online before, then this will be your first taste of it.

Funny thing happens when you start making money, it kinda snow balls and you sort of get addicted to it. A good addiction to have – right?

Now, before you get too excited and do a “happy dance“, the first method that I am going to show you will NOT make you rich.

Infact you might even be a little disappointed, especially if you have already made money online before, but like I said above, if you’ve never made money online before, this could be a way to kick start the process.

Once you get going and make your first couple of dollars, you might find it hard to stop.

I can guarantee that you’ll make money from this method in the next 15 – 30 minutes if you’re willing to take action.

It cost nothing to start and you don’t have to have any special skills or experience to participate.

But let me be clear, this is a short term option and a more long term option would be to start your own blog like I show you here and make money hundreds of dollars like I show you here.

I do have to say that some of these methods are not my preferred ways of making money, because I like to leverage my time online and get paid over and over again for the same piece of work, which is why I recommend starting your own blog.

But they are legitimate ways to earn money online if you’re willing to take action.

Anyway, with that being said, let’s dive head first into the first method.

1. SliceThePie.com

SliceThePie is a music survey company that pays for your opinion on new artist songs.

The company basically gives you songs from new artists to listen to and then you simply rate the song, giving the artist feedback on what you thought about the song, including your thoughts on the instruments, the melody, and the vocals. Once your opinion has been submitted you get paid for it.

Your opinion provides valuable insight to both the artist who get to push their music out to a wider audience, as well as to music scouts who might be looking to sign up the next biggest act.

Either way, it’s a win, win, win situation.

The next method is more lucrative, but it does require a little bit of skill, however, most people already have the skill to a degree.

What is the skill?

Writing.

2. Write For Other People

Why?

Because there are a lot of webmasters looking for writers to help update their websites with high quality content.

So a lot of people might have the skill, but it’s another thing trying to find someone that is going to pay them for the skill – right?

Wrong.

The demand for online writers is so high that entire businesses have been created to provide these services to webmasters. And it’s really just a case of you becoming a writer for one of these services. One such service that I reviewed recently was iWriter.com, which I’ll give you the low down on soon.

It would be more lucrative however, for you to go to a site like Elance.com and advertise your writing services there, because you’ll be able to negotiate a better price for your writing.

However if you don’t have any experience or a portfolio to show a prospective employer, then register with a writing service like iWriter, and develop your skills there before going it alone.

Services like iWriter act as the middleman, so to speak, for webmasters to be able to find good content writers for their websites.

3. Create An Online Business or Blog

Most people underestimate themselves because they think they lack a special talent or unique skill.

To be honest, the only thing you need is the ability to express your thoughts in an enjoyable manner.

If you take the time and effort to create a popular blog or online business, you can make some serious cash.

You can buy a great blogging platform for less than $3 a month and create content about what you are passionate about.

Here are a few examples:

• Health & Fitness
• Traveling Tips
• Cooking Techniques
• Technology or Gaming
• Carpentry or Metalworking

To be honest, almost anything will work as long as you take it seriously.

Eventually you can leverage your popularity with affiliate sales or endorsements.

Companies have been willing to pay you for the ability to advertise their products/services on your website.

4. Complete Online Surveys to Make Some Extra Cash

Before I get started on this section, I want to point out that all of the examples I provide are free to sign up and use. If you come across an online survey that asks you to pay, run away as fast as you can. It is most likely a scam. Secondly, why pay for a survey when you can complete free surveys. Not only can you earn some extra cash but you can win prizes, free merchandise and gift vouchers. If you end up winning something that you won’t use, you can sell it and earn money that way as well. This is great for someone that decides to make an online buying/selling business. More on that later in the review.

Theses are just a few suggestions and there are plenty more. Before deciding on which ones you want to use, you should check out customer reviews.

5. Watch and/or Like Videos and Movie Trailers

Watching videos is often overlooked when it comes to making money because there are two drawbacks.

The first drawback is that the money varies from one week to the next. This is due to the fact that some tasks pay more than others and some weeks give you more videos to watch.

The other drawback is the fact that you will have to watch ads in order to get to the videos first.

To some people, this is not an issue because making money this way is done on your free time.

Whichever side of the argument you come out on, you have to admit that getting around $200 bucks a month for watching videos is at least worth checking out.

6. Get Rewards From Bing While Searching Online

This is a great way to earn rewards and it is so simple.  Millions of people use Google around the world and this generates a fortune.

Microsoft is attempting to rival Google and is willing to reward people for using their search engine, Bing.

How cool is that?

Bing is willing to give you points that can be cashed out for gift cards.

What makes thing better is the fact that you can use the rewards with retail giants like Amazon.

Here is how it works:

The reason many people are waking up to this method is because many people like to buy and sell items to make a few extra bucks from time to time.

Or people save up their rewards and buy something that they really want.

This is great because you can eventually buy something that you might not normally have the budget for!!!

7. Get Paid for Writing Articles for Websites

What’s the matter?

You don’t think you have what it takes to write for online magazines?

That is where you are wrong. As long as you can get your point across in an effective manner, you can make some decent money writing online.

Some websites pay better than others but you can make between $50-$150 per article.

Before I go any further, these sites won’t have many writers so there is competition.

If your article is selected, they will pay you very well for your time and efforts. Even if you only get 1 or 2 articles published a month, you will have a few hundred bucks to save or invest in another business venture.

Here are a few websites that pay you for articles:

WOW! Women On Writing – $50-$100 A worldwide magazine that discusses women’s issues.

8. Selling The Stuff You Don’t Need

An easy way to earn some extra cash is to go through all of you stuff and determine what you no longer need. Instead of throwing it away or giving it to someone you know, why not sell it online.

There are plenty of platforms to make it happen. If you have a lot of clothes that you no longer need, you can sell them on a site called ThreadUp.

If you have other items then you can use sites like Ebay.

Think of it like an online lawn sale. If you need the money immediately, then I recommend skipping the ThreadUp option and bring your clothes down to a local consignment store and see what you can get for them.

On the other hand, if you don’t need the money immediately, take the time to learn the art of selling items online because that can be a very lucrative side business.

In fact, I know several people that go to lawn and estate sales and make a killing reselling the items they get. If you have a keen eye, you can make some serious cash.

9. Getting Paid to Find and Use Coupons

Many shoppers already utilize coupons to save money! Usually the savings isn’t significant but every little bit helps.

What if there was a way to get paid for finding and sharing coupons.

Well you are in luck because CouponChief is willing to pay you to share coupons with other people.

To be honest, there is no reason not to use a site like eBates if you shop online and it is by far one of, if not THE best online rebate site available.

Another reason to jump on this opportunity is because you can earn cashback on just about anything.

This is another one of those options that may not seem significant per shopping experience but you can earn a lot of cash back if you use eBates on a regular basis.

11. You Can Earn Money by Losing Weight

The

New Year’s resolution is to get back into shape and losing weight is the key factor in doing so.

Statistics show that after a few weeks of trying to lose weight, motivations fizzles out and people go back to their old habits.

This includes eating poorly and inconsistent exercise. Maybe if there was additional motivation to keep your weight loss goals on track.

There happens to be companies that will pay you if you meet your weight loss goals. DietBet and HealthyWage are the two major companies that come to mind.

12. Answer Trivia Questions for a Little Extra Cash

Imagine if you could earn money for something as simple as answering trivia questions.

I mean, everyone that I know would take a few minutes out of their day to answer some questions.

There is a website that pays you daily winnings and major winnings every year. Here is the deal though, you have to do better than all of the other competitors.

Oh and did I mention that you will be put on a team of three so you better be lucky and get smart teammates?

Look, it sounds like a lot of “what-ifs” but you can win $200-$300 daily prizes and you will also be put in the running for a special lottery to pay off your school loans.

The odds of winning are slim but having a chance is a major deal.

13. Scan and Buy Groceries to Earn Prizes

Market Research Companies have set up ways to earn points for grocery shopping and scanning your items.

This may sound to good to be true but your purchases can provide valuable information that can help companies understand the shopping habits of people.

Nielsen is one of the companies that does it and it’s as simple as visiting their website, downloading their app and using your smartphone to scan items.

If you really feel the need, you can also request a scanner from Nielsen and they will send you one.

You can get paid by uploading pictures with smartphone with a site called Foap.

You earn $5 every time your pictures are bought.

This is great because multiple people can purchase your pictures.

If your pictures are quality then each picture can earn you plenty of residual income, which is much easier than having to work office hours.

It is important to note that there is an approval team that must look at the quality of the picture before is is added to the site.

Make sure you take good pictures and you should be fine.

16. Get Paid to Listen and Rate Music

This is another great opportunity to listen to music and get paid to rate it afterward.

Two of the best features are the fact that you can sign up for free and make an account.

Then you simply start listening to music and rating the songs available.

Don’t expect a get rich quick here.

You will only make $1 a song but listening to a 5 songs a day for a month could earn you an extra $150 a month.

The reason I think this option is worth the time is because everyone loves music, who knows, you could end up discovering a song or artist that you have never heard of.

There is nothing wrong with getting paid to listen to music.

17. Giving Advice Can Earn You Cash

Usually advice is free but in this case you can get paid to share your knowledge and advice no matter what your expertise is in.

Even if you aren’t an expert, you can get paid to ask questions and even share your situation if it helps people understand things better.

If you love to tweet and you have tons of followers then you should jump all over this opportunity.

On the other hand, there are guides on how to accumulate followers on social media so if you want to start from the ground up there are options.

This opportunity is as easy as it sounds.

You tweet and you get paid.

If you google “get paid to tweet” there are plenty of options to choose from.

Keep in mind that this option may take some time to see steady income generation because you need to build a large following on Twitter.

This ranges from high school and even college level studies.

One of the most redeeming aspects of Chegg is the fact that it’s available 24/7. This means that you can work on your own schedule and help people worldwide.

I know for a fact that teaching English to foreigners is a rapidly growing field.

You can make some serious cash even if you can only do it part time.

If you think you have what it takes, give it a shot. I have a feeling you will not be disappointed.

22. Working As An At Home Nurse

A company called Fonemed only hires licensed and experience nurses so rest assured that the information provided is accurate.

Although I cannot confirm this, I honestly doubt that a company like this would be allowed to exist if they are not living up to strict standards.

This is great news for people that need helpful information about health issues but also creates a great way for people to earn money while home.

This is a great opportunity for stay-at-home moms/dads or a second job for a licensed nurse.

With that being said, it is extremely easy for nurses to find a job because its is one of the fastest growing fields in the world.

Mystery shopping has been a valuable part of retail and restaurants for a long time.

I am sure there is some kind of limit to prevent mystery shoppers from getting free flat screens!!!

No, seriously; you design a shirt and if they start selling, the company pays you a decent share of the sales.

Another fantastic aspect of the company is the fact that you can advertise it anywhere.

You can post your designs on Facebook or other social media platforms.

If you take it seriously and have creative ideas, you can make some decent money with absolutely zero monetary investment.

25. Pick Up Free Stuff and Sell Them on Craigslist

There is no doubt that Craigslist one of the most popular websites in the world.

Here is a perfect example of what I’m talking about.

Let’s say that there is a free set of old chairs that the owner doesn’t want anymore.

They may end up putting it on Craigslist for free because it is not worth the effort to dispose of it on their own.

If you go and pick it up, restore it and then resell it, you get 100% profit, excluding the travel.

This is one of my favorite options on this list because there is a so much potential and you never know what you are going to find in your area.

Earlier in the review I recommended completing online surveys for some extra cash.

If you can make it through an online survey, you can do focus groups.

They are similar and in most cases focus groups typically have higher rewards.

The one major difference is the fact that you will have to physically at the focus group location.

This may be an inconvenience so this option is not for everyone.

Here is the catch, you will have to slowly build up a reputation with the company.

They do no expect 100% positive reviews; they want honest and accurate reviews.

The better you do on your review, the higher rating you will get and in turn, get more jobs.

This obviously means that you will have a higher earning potential which is the point of doing this is the first place. If you end up reviewing software, take it seriously and start earning some decent money.

29. Earn Cash by Translating

This is a great way to get some extra cash and I have personal experience with this opportunity, more on that later.

If you are capable of speaking 2 languages or more you can make some serious cash. In fact, you can make full time wages with only a few hours of work a day.

There are a few different options with this opportunity.

There is also another path that you could take that is really helpful to schools.

If you can find jobs like this and create a name for yourself, people will go out of their way to contact you again if they need your services. Anyway, if you speak multiple languages, take advantage of your skills.

30. Selling Art and Crafts Online for Extra Cash

Websites like Etsy have made arts and crafts a great way to make money on the side.

Whether you are a stay at home mom/dad or retired, you can still make money for your creations. https://www.etsy.com/

Not only can you take advantage of the very popular selling platform, you can also purchase items that are being sold for lower than they are worth.

Everyone has thought about writing a book at some point in their life.

We are in the era of the sharing economy and your house can be shared with other people in order to make some cash.

Travelers are willing to shell out some serious cash in order to get a local feel to their vacation.

33. Make Money Being a Research Subject

There are two ways you can go about becoming a research subject.

Universities offer opportunities and so do clinics.

Either way, you can earn some serious cash.

It is important to note that some trials are very simple and have no risks what so ever.

An example of this would be a sleeping trial where doctors examine brain functions.

Another trial may be for testing new medications, which could have some pretty serious side effects.

Where there is risk there is usually reward and you can expect higher pay for medication trials.

If you really need the money, it may be worth it to you.

There is no doubt that people are starting to recognize YouTube as a great way to make money.

In fact, there are millions of people making a livable wage by making videos.

The sky is the limit because you can focus on one topic that you specialize in or you can talk about something different everyday.

One of the easiest examples of this is all of the people that Game of Thrones.

There are hundreds of people that talk about theories or and elaborate on the differences between the books and TV series.

If you can create a watchable video with great content you can make a lot of money with advertisements.

The great thing about the whole thing is the fact that if you lack certain video making skills, you can watch a YouTube video tutorial and learn it.
